Executives Online Opens In Netherlands

Executives Online, the fast track headhunting company announced today further global expansion with the opening of its newest franchise in the Netherlands. The new office in Amsterdam will not only help to meet continuing client demand, but will further enhance the organisation’s Global Talent Bank of over 50,000 executive candidates seeking both interim and permanent executive roles.

The Amsterdam office will be headed up by Edwin Glas whose commercial strengths lie in building businesses from concept through to operational status. His previous employment with Microsoft saw him grow the Entertainment and Devices division in the Netherlands and developing international territories including Russia and the Middle East.

James O’Brien, Franchise Director at Executives Online comments: “We often find ourselves in a unique position where we can actually benefit from the current economic climate. Many people who are made redundant see their position as an opportunity to realise their ambitions and will seriously consider becoming a franchisee of a business they believe has a strong product offering and can provide an attractive, financial proposition, even in these economic conditions.

The Amsterdam office is a continuation of our commitment to expand our global network with 2009 being no different, despite the difficult climate. We have doubled our international network in just two years and will be looking at repeating this over the next 12-18 months by opening new offices in other countries including Belgium, Germany, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Singapore, Hong Kong, the Middle East and Central and Eastern Europe.”
